Also a male Adder GB.

25.06.11 (BPW & WHP). 1 Common Shelduck, 26 Eurasian Teal, 10 Mallard 6 young WP, 6 Tufted Duck, 1 Common Pheasant, 1 Common Buzzard, 2 Hobby, 1 Peregrine Falcon 2nd yr male, 11 Northern Lapwing, 2 Eurasian Curlew, 1 Common Redshank, 7 Lesser Black-backed Gull 2nd yr birds at least maybe others in 1st W birds, 5 Yellow-legged Gull (all time maximum) 2nd yr birds at least maybe others in 1st W birds, 3 Black-headed Gull, 2 Stock Dove, 2 Wood Pigeon, 40 Common Swift, 1 Magpie, 4 Carrion Crow, 1 Great Tit, 2 Sky Lark, 3 Sand Martin, 4 Barn Swallow, 1 House Martin, 4 Common Chiffchaff, 3 Willow Warbler, 5 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 10 Common Whitethroat, 8 Grasshopper Warbler, 7 Sedge Warbler, 7 Reed Warbler, 2 Wren, 2 Blackbird, 1 Robin, 10 Meadow Pipit, 2 Goldfinch, 6 Linnet, 2 Bullfinch, 14 Reed Bunting. 11.06.11 (Paul Adams, Pete Hinks and Brian Smith). Route. Square walk aroung Will Pitts. Then from Fison's Road along Middle Moor Tram passing the viewing platform, along Eastern Boundary Tram, around Middle Moor, back to Fison's Road. Then around Green Belt. All bird species noted as present other than those numbered (nominally number 1 or 2 here). 1 Greylag Goose, 2 Common Shelduck, 1 Mallard, 1 Common Pheasant, 4 Marsh Harrier, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Hobby, 1 Common Snipe, 5 Black-headed Gull, 1 Wood Pigeon, 1 European Nightjar nr WP, 2 Common Swift, 1 Carrion Crow, 1 Blue Tit, 1 Great Tit, 1 Willow Tit, 1 Barn Swallow, 1 Common Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Common Whitethroat, 3 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 1 Eurasian Treecreeper, 1 Wren, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Robin, 1 Tree Sparrow, 1 Tree Pipit, 1 Meadow Pipit, 1 Common Chaffinch, 1 Greenfinch, 1 Linnet, 1 Reed Bunting. 31.05.11 to 01.06.11 (BS) Note: spent a full 24hrs on the moors 1pm 31st to 1pm on 1st. Covered the whole area except Bells Pond/colliery area, Inkle Moor, Western and Northern boundaries and CTP. 4 Greylag Goose both pairs with juveniles, 4 Common Shelduck, 11 Gadwall, 42 Eurasian Teal, 81 Mallard, 26 Shoveler, 16 Tufted Duck, 2 Grey Partridge, 1 Great Cormorant on 1st, 3 Marsh Harrier 1m 2cc, 3 Eurasian Sparrowhawk, 2 Common Kestrel, 2 Hobby, 2 Water Rail GM, 2 Moorhen, 1 Common Coot, 3 Ringed Plover, 47 Northern Lapwing, 2 Dunlin, 5 Common Snipe drumming MM, 1 Woodcock roding WP, 2 Eurasian Curlew, 6 Common Redshank, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull over, The Black-headed Gull colony not looking good, no real activity there. Also: a Grey Squirrel nr. metal entrance bridge, 10 Roe Deer, 2 Fox, 1 Hare north end, 6 Red Deer (inc. a very small fawn nr. platform).
