St Augustin Bay lies 74km south of Ifaty, off the W coast (just S of National Route 7) and is a rough area of spiny euphorbia and Moringa trees Moringa oleifera coastal vegetation which can be tried for two sought after species Verreaux’s Coua, Running Coua and Red-shouldered Vanga. Littoral Rock-Thrush and Madagascar Plover may be seen along roadside pools.
