Birding Site Guide

Several good species were seen from the window during these long bus journeys. In Patagonia, Lesser Rheas were readily seen in grassland and Chilean Flamingos, geese, ducks and both species of swans on scattered lakes. Guanaco and Grey Fox were also seen several times in Southern Patagonia. I saw 29 species including 5 lifers.
