Birding Site Guide

Located on a headland of Poole Harbour, this reserve is 3.5 miles SE of Wareham. Turn off the A351 east at Stoborough. Facilities are car park and toilets with information centre.

One of most reliable heaths for Dartford Warbler, summer visitors include Nightjar and Grasshopper Warbler. The estuary attracts a wide range of passage waders and waterfowl.
