Birding Site Guide
Leaving Penzance on the A30, turn right (N) in Drift and after a short way park at the picnic area by the dam. This is the dam end and part of the reservoir can be viewed from here. The path goes past the dam half a km to the hide, however the access to this path is strictly for permit holders only. Alternatively at the A30 roundabout take the A3071 to Tremethick Cross, at the crossing go left (W) onto the minor road and then take the 2nd left unclassified road to the parking area in the bit of woodland. On the W side of the reservoir there is alternative access via a Public Bridleway between Treganhoe and Trevean Farms.
