Birding Site Guide
The White-headed Duck, may take some spotting far out on the lake with a scope, but it is present in small numbers. The extensive beds of papyrus and reeds are a favoured place for Moustached Warbler. The striking flocks of White-winged Snow Finch are often feeding on the sparse low alpine-like vegetation along the roadsides as are other passerines such as Tawny Pipit, Ortolan Bunting and Grey-hooded Bunting. Ali Safak is a birdwatching guide in Turkey (mostly in Aladag and Tourus area). They have a tractor and a 4-wheel drive vehicle for the tours.
