This reserve and butterfly Sanctuary is located about 30 km E of Kumasi, at the village of Kubease.



Black Goshawk Accipiter melanoleucus, Long-tailed Hawk Urotriorchis macrourus, Black-throated Coucal Centropus leucogaster, Senegal Coucal Centropus senegalensis, Narina Trogon Apaloderma narina, Least Honeyguide Indicator exilis, Gray Parrot Psittacus erithacus, Black-winged Oriole Oriolus nigripennis, Dusky Tit Melaniparus funereus, Forest Penduline-Tit Anthoscopus flavifrons, Black-capped Apalis Apalis nigriceps, Sharpe's Apalis Apalis sharpii, African Yellow White-eye Zosterops senegalensis, Little Flycatcher Muscicapa epulata, Chestnut-winged Starling Onychognathus fulgidus, Narrow-tailed Starling Poeoptera lugubris, Bronze Mannikin Spermestes cucullata, Black-and-white Mannikin Spermestes bicolor, Magpie Mannikin Spermestes fringilloides.
